Scope and content
Memoranda, reports, trial transcripts, and other documents relating to the declaration of martial law in the Philippines in 1972, especially Supreme Court decisions about the continuance of martial law, accounts of detainees, and accounts of abuses. Included are files on the trial of Benigno S. Aquino. Also, general research files and drafts of Butler's report for the International Commission of Jurists.
