Deeds, indentures, maps, an inventory, and other items pertaining to land transactions in Bath, Steuben County, New York, primarily of the Read and Ferris families, including papers of Alfred P. Ferris, Henry P. Ferris, James M. Ferris, Constant Cook, William H. Bull, A.D. Read, William H. Read, Theodore J. Aber, Robert Stewart, and Joseph Fellows. Also, Letters, primarily to Mrs. Mary Seymour from John Todd, who represented Mrs. Seymour, Mrs. Harriet Dibley, Harriet Connor, and others in a legal case against Robert Todd, in which they contested Mary Masterton's will.
