Scope and content
Reminiscences, 1953-1954, of Ellen Coit Brown, who married Orrin Leslie Elliott, include descriptions of Cornell University President Andrew Dickson White and Professor George Lincoln Burr (with whom Miss Brown worked as an assistant in President White's library after graduation), and a description of women students at Cornell, their attitudes and activities (1878-1882). Also, a small book of poems by Ellen Coit Brown Elliott; annotated volume of The Cornell Review, 1880-1881; A.D. White's Outlines of Lectures on History, with shorthand notes by O.L. Elliott; and scrapbook of O.L. Elliott, 1881-1889.
