Copy of letter from Dickinson of Denver, Colorado, to John G. Morrison, Bemidji, Minnesota including reminiscences concerning timber stands and logging operations, transportation by steamboat, stagecoach, and sleigh, railroad construction, and living conditions in northern Minnesota (late 1890s to early 1900s) after the Chippewa Reservation was opened to settlement with tributes to Jay P. Kinney, Addison C. Goddard, and Morrison for their work on Indian timber lands; also Kinney's comments on the letter, and Dickinson's replies.
