Scope and content

Two diaries of Andrew Baker of West Dryden, New York, 1871-79, with comments on the local Methodist church and agricultural meetings in Ithaca, New York; a few personal letters; minutes and bylaws from a meeting held in 1874 to organize a chapter of the Y.M.C.A.; minutes of a Farmers Institute meeting in Ithaca, 1878; photographs, bills, and inventories. Also, items collected by Andrew Alvord Baker while serving with a Cornell University contingent of the American Ambulance Field Service in France and Italy during World War I.
