Biographical / Historical

Professor of agricultural economics. Lowell C. Cunningham received a B.S. and M.S. from the University of Illinois and a Ph.D. from Cornell University in 1934 and taught in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Cornell from 1934 until his retirement in 1969. He was an expert in farm management, working closely with the commercial feed industry, and serving on New York State committees relating to milk marketing and pricing. He was the author of books, bulletins, and articles, including a textbook: FARM MANAGEMENT AND MARKETING, 1942 (co-authored with Van Breed Hart)., 1942. He died in 1983.
