Letters to Wyckoff concern scheduling and strategies of football games, potential Cornell players, and arrangements for Wyckoff to officiate. Other letters are from family members, Kappa Alpha fraternity brothers, and several from Joseph William Beacham, Jr., an All-America substitute end, 1895. Also includes eight photographs. Correspondence from Marshall Newell, former Cornell football coach.

Biographical / Historical
Clinton R. Wyckoff (Cornell University LL.B. 1896), captain of the Cornell football team in 1895, was selected as quarterback on Walter Camp's All-America team (Cornell's first All-American player). After graduating from Cornell, Wyckoff practiced law and later founded and became president of the Atlas Steel Casting Company in Buffalo, New York.
