David Lee Hanselman tape recording
Scope and content
Recording of "Symphony of the Birds," an 11-minute tape of bird songs recorded and produced in 1955 and 1956 by Peter Paul Kellogg and Jim Facett, who hosted a CBS radio symphony orchestra program, at the Cornell University Laboratory of Ornithology. Also, a recording of Arthur Augustus Allen talking about the humming-bird; and taped excerpts of a show David L. Hanselman produced for the Farm and Home Radio Show, Christmas 1957. Included in this show is a 1954 recording of Bristow Adams telling the story of the Christmas bells.

Professor of environmental education and communications. David Lee Hanselman is a professor at the State University of New York School of Landscape Architecture, Syracuse, New York. He graduated from Cornell University Class of 1957.
