Eighteen small volumes of library cataloging records of Cornell University; handwritten index slips, clipped on side, for British Parliamentary papers, titled "Index to British Blue Books, L-R," n.d.; records concerning department reorganization, 1969-1970; three loose-leaf volumes of typescript lists of subject headings used by the Cornell University Libraries in 1935; and "Manual of Cataloging Procedures," 1969. Cataloging department records include acquisitions procedures; time studies; OCLC feasibility study, 1971 and planning documentation; "Evaluation of a Computer-Based Cataloging Support System for Use by the Cornell University Libraries," M.S. project report, 1973; minutes of the Planning Committee for the Cataloging Support System (OCLC), 1972-1973; Cornell Catalog Procedures Manual (1958, 1959) and reports, records from the task force on the future of the Cornell University Library card catalog, 1970's and 1980's.
Also, targets and correspondence pertaining to the microfilming of the Cornell University Library card catalog (1969-1971).
