Biographical / Historical

John Ryno was a mechanic when he enlisted in the 126th Regiment, Company C, in 1862. He also played in the Farmer Village Band which enlisted as a unit and later became the Third Brigade Band. Shortly before he enlisted, he married Anne Rappleye, daughter of John Peatt Rappleye, a descendant of a pioneer.
