Biographical / Historical

Jo Ray was a landscape architect who designed Bryant Park in New York City and laid out the 1939 New York World's Fair. He also landscaped private estates, schools in Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts, and other private and public projects. He graduated from Cornell University in 1925. His wife, Eloise Ray was also a landscape architect.
