Biographical / Historical
The Rochester Hospital Council was formed in 1935 to coordinate activities and problems in hospitals. A separate organization, the Council of Rochester Regional Hospitals, was formed in 1946 and covered 11 counties. The two organizations merged in 1951 to form the Rochester Regional Hospital Council.
