Includes account books of John Marsh and others, with notes, 1819-1898; a scrapbook with newspaper clippings of poems, death notices, and prayers, 1843-1879; financial papers including correspondence, bills, receipts, deeds, and mortgages, 1920-1925; and miscellany including two almanacs with notes, 1892-1893. Names included are John Marsh, Charles Marsh, E.C. Marsh, and E.A. Marsh. Also, correspondence and business papers (1786-1900) for Rathbone and Chapin, including three account books (1837-1863), of the wool trade. John Marsh and Ephraim Coleman Marsh, shoemakers day book.
