Includes correspondence from patients and their families, from the New York State Medical Board, and from various hospitals; letters to his wife from friends and patients after his death on July 22, 1968; certificates, programs, and other mementos concerning academic and extra-curricular activities during his Cornell years (1919-1923); and diplomas through 1926. Also, several articles on surgery prepared for publication by Dr. Maier, one reel of movie film concerning surgery, and family photographs.
