The C&J Concert Promotions Marketing Plan for the Aborted “All Eyes On Us” tour was prepared by Calvin Carothers. The 38-date tour, which was scheduled to begin in October 1996, never happened as the result of Tupac’s murder in September 1996. After Tupac’s death, the concert tour was rescheduled to proceed with just Snoop Dog but was first postponed (prompting the curious headline in the Greensboro News and Record: “Slaying Prompts Concert Delay”), and eventually canceled outright out of respect because of the murder of Biggie Smalls, and Snoop Dog’s concern for his own safety.
