Content Description
The collection comprises records from the Journal of Applied Physics, spanning the years 1952 to 1955. During this period, Professor Earle C. Gregg served as an Assistant Editor from 1950 to 1954, while the founding editor, Elme Hutchisson, held the position from 1937 to 1953. In July 1954, Professor Hutchisson announced that the editorship of the journal had transitioned to Professor Robert Sproull, Associate Professor of Physics at Cornell University at that time. Professor Sproull served as the editor from 1954 to 1957. Professors Earle C. Gregg and Elme Hutchisson were the editors for issues published between 1952 and mid-1954, while Professor Robert Sproull took over for issues published from mid-1954 to 1955. The records are organized into two categories: accepted papers, which encompass articles and letters to the editor, and rejected, withdrawn, or transferred papers, all arranged chronologically.
