Subseries contains materials related to the use of the telegraph by railroads in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Materials present include membership cards for railroad telegraphers’ unions, a photograph of a joint railroad station-telegraph office, a bond certificate for the New York Central Railroad, and additional ephemera.
