Scope and Contents

Typed copy. Writes of De Witt Clinton, of whom he says "if he is not the nominal, he is the real Governor of the State"; gives reasons for the future importance of the Apian Way to New York City--all the territories can best be supplied by a road such as this - thus people will become carriers on the road, giving rise to competition and the trader will be able to make better terms.
