Dance Cards, 1904-1910

 Series — Box: 4

Scope and Contents

Series contains dance cards for social events attended by W. Forrest Lee between 1904-1910. Dance cards were small cards or booklets, often with a pencil attached by a string, in which an attendee could write down the names of their partners for each dance during the event. Dance cards in this series are from Cornell University events as well as non-Cornell events in Ithaca and New York City. Of note are several dance cards from Lee’s time as a student of the Cornell University Medical College.
