150 small black and white photographs, captioned by Vernon. Included in this album are: images of Manhasset, NY, one depicting Irene on horse “Minto” while filming “The Whirl of Life.”; Vernon's life as Royal Flying Corps pilot during WWI, some in France, most in Camp Mohawk, Canada and Camp Benbrook, Texas; planes that Vernon flew, as well as friends such as Johnny Coats, Eardley Wilmot and Gewn Wilmot; images of plane crashes; visits from Irene Castle in England and Canada, and in Englewood, New Jersey; family members, including Coralie and husband Lawrence Grossmith, Elroy and her children; Vernon's German Shepherd "Tell" and his monkey "Jeffrey"; Gladqyn MacDougal; Vernon's cars, including Minerva decorated by Elsie de Wolfe, a Stutz Bearcat, and the Marmon. The last pages of this album contain photographs of the plane crash that killed Vernon. These photographs were sent by Victor Dodd, and described in his letter (BOX 1) from April, 1918.
