Ithaca Hotel indentures
Manuscript indentures by which Merab B. Welch sold the Ithaca Hotel to Joseph M. Lyon, and Joseph Lyon and his wife Julia B. Lyon sold it to Warner H. Welch later the same day. Each document is signed by the seller(s) and by notary public Marcus Lyon. Although their last name is spelled "Lyon" in the text of the documents, Joseph and Julia Lyons sign their last names "Lyons."
