Metal zines and flyers
Issues of metal zines including Deathcore (also spelled Death-core), Metal mania, Spear, and The witching hour. Also, fliers for Metal rules magazine and for a performance of the band Witch on its "Nobody sleeps" tour of 1986-1987.
Rave collection
Batch one consists of San Francisco Bay area rave cards and flyers. 118 items consisting of single sheets, variously folded leaflets, and a few pamphlets, almost all of them printed on paper or card stocks, two or there on acetate and ranging in size from 24mo to 4to, with the majority being 8vo. Some references include, Melville, Whitman, Sendak, Lewis Carroll, Dr. Seuss, Margaret Meade and rock posters of the 1960s.
The Last Poets and the Oppressed Peoples' Theater will be featured Sat. nite, July 13.. at the Red Top Club
Manuscript flyer advertising a performance at the Red Top Club, on 81st Street between Columbus and Amsterdam in Manhattan, with a suggested donation to be used "for the legal defense of Ferguson-Harris."
