Consists largely of correspondence from the Assistant Secretary of the Emergency Committee, Edward R. Murrow, to the chairman of its Executive Committee, Livingston Farrand. Included is correspondence of or about Kurt Lewin, the German-American psychologist, who came to Cornell University in the 1930s after fleeing Nazi Germany.
