Typescript "History of the Mitchell Family" and "A Tragedy, Miss Lucy Criddle Shot," typescript copies of newspaper reports about her murder taken from The Tompkins County Democrat, June 28th and July 5, 1861. These accounts quote the coroner's reports regarding her death and that of Montgomery Cornell, presumed murderer and suicide by drowning.
